The moral message of a fairytale-moises juarez

There are many fairytales that we tell our children hoping they can learn something out of it. These fairytales actually makeup their childhood and their future as well. Many of us grew with fairytales that have been told and passed down from many years ago. These fairytales aren't just any casual stories they are very classical meaningful stories. There is a very important meaningful message behind fairytales.The message the fairytales convey has helped shape us into what we are now and shaping our kids as well for the future.The fairytales that were once told to us have been changed around a bit not entirely but jut a bit for the sake of society.The fairytales have changed the life of kids compared to those kids who didn't grow up with fairytales in their childhood.The main reason for fairytales is because it's a way to teach our children life lessons as well as morals. We expect that they catch these lectures and hopefully leads them in the right directions in the future. The fairytales that we tell our children can be really beneficial in their life and we hope it teaches them the same morals it has taught us.

Fairytales have been passed down from many years ago.They have a  reason for their creation and why they are aimed for kids.Anyone in our family can enjoy a fairytale, but the message is for kids specifically since they are still learning. When fairytales first started they were much more violent and harsh .The old fairytales were very graphic and they weren’t kid friendly ar all. In Fairytales-the Grimm truth says,” modern audiences may be surprised to find just how much of the earthiness, the sexuality and the cruelty were present in those early literary versions”(Neil). Many of us  don’t really know the original story behind our classical fairytales.The original fairytales that we know weren’t very friendly because it had many violent scenes that would be creepy. This article explains how the orginial fairytales have changed to be able to keep it appropriate for kids. They have also changed to make sure it’s a story that can be able to teach a lesson. If theses changes weren’t done then we wouldn’t be letting our children grow up with these stories. The changes of the fairytales are positive and have been done based on the changes of society.

Our society and new generation children have been the cause for the changes of these fairytales. The changes that are done to our fairytales are meant so that new generation kids can understand the old classic fairytales. In From Snow to Cinderella,the story of fairytales on films, “The ethical universe of the films they inspired is maybe out of fashion, and the methods that once brought us their magic can seem outmoded; but the enchantments these movies offer are updated”(Newton). The films are updated so that the new generations that are yet to come in our future can understand the films. The changes can either be small or big depending on how old the original story is. Despite all the changes done to the plots they still try to keep it within the same  main idea of the story.There can be a few plot changes,but the moral that is being delivered through the story is still there. Newton states that the films will remain for years to come as long as they are changed according to the changes that are being found in our world. Fairytales were created with a specific reason and for a specific audience.

The main reason why we tell fairytales to our kids is because it’s a easier wya for us to teach them morals.. There’s always a meaning behind each story we tell them. The meaning would be life lessons that should be followed by them. The kids learn these lessons because of the way the fairytales are created. In Not-So-Grimm fairytales from DGV states,”The unusual language allows children to deal with the sometimes difficult subject matter in a different way than if it were written in everyday speech”(Verlag). This means that they have to get creative when it comes to telling stories to our kids. They have to use certain language that will keep our kids interested. Once our kids are interested in the story they will comprehend the moral of the story The importance of morals in the childhood of our kids is extremely important.

It’s a big benefit for our kids to grow up with  morals that they will need for their future.The benefit that it brings to our kids is that they will be good and successful in the future. In New Book by Lane Franks Highlights the Importance of Instilling Good Morals in Children states,” Wolfy shows the importance of good values and a loving family”(Franks). The moral that is most known to teach to our kids is  having good values. It is a benefit for kids to learn these morals as a child because that way they can grow into them. They will be more likely to succeed in life if they follow our teachings.Those kids who aren’t introduced to fairytales at a young age don’t grow up with these morals. Since there was no one to teach them they fail to get the message.The absence of these morals in kids can lead them into the wrong direction in their life.

Reading fairytales to our kids go a long way in a very beneficial way. The fairytales have changed so much throughout the years.They have adjusted to our society which is really great.We should continue to make the changes to that all our future kids can be able to understand the morals and lessons we learned through the classical fairytales.
